Social Networking... 12 years ago Louipimps was a pioneer in Social Networking. We connected an entire region of music lovers with our simple website. Back then we were cutting edge - we had streaming audio and video, Flash animation, interactive discussion forums, an event photo gallery, and even a realtime chat room YEARS before anybody else. We saw our product copied and imitated across the midwest, but they were never as succesful as Louipimps. Sure, we did some events and released some albums... Heck, we even had some good licensing deals over the years. But when I look back it and really think about what makes the memory, the community aspect (or as the newage people call it, "Social Networking") of our product really shines. Some of the discussions we've had over the years have really been nothing short of amazing. We've covered music, politics, religion, entertainment in general, raver politics (lol), and just about everything in-between. Many of you are part of my extended family, and I hope that this continues on for many years to come. However... Here's the big part --- The website as we know it is closed. I'm leaving the label information up simply as a testemant to the fact that Louipimps Records existed. The forums are offline, the galleries are offline, and I probably won't be updating the content any time soon.
